Outside my house [ Rondeau ]

by Everlasting   Oct 22, 2015

Outside my house, a kitten plays.
It chases birds throughout the days.
At times, it scratches up its ear
until it sees me coming near
Then like a sun that spreads its rays

Throughout the yard without delays,
And always comes but never stays,
The kitten comes to disappear
-------------------- outside my house.

And then again, it finds its ways
to come and chase the birds, always!
Until it sees me close and clear
Then it begins to run in fear
towards its many hideaways
----------------------- outside my house.

Another excellent Rondeau you have penned.
Your words have painted a picture for the minds eye..a beautiful scene of sunny skies, butterflies and a playful kitten rolling and jumping in the green grass.

    Good job!
    Take care Cindy
