Crashing down

by Alexis Anderson   Oct 23, 2015

When it all becomes too much the sadness
overtakes your life. The pain begins to set in.
The anger can be heard in your tone.
The tears flow like a river.
The weather is colder than you ever felt.
The sadness in your heart is killing you.
That's when you need them most but they're not there. That's when the depression rest itself on you.
That's when you realize it's you against the world.
The person you relied on is gone.
They didn't just leave they died on you.
They left you behind to learn to deal on your own.
The strongest and wittiest person you knew.
Is no longer.
