Cut

by Alexis Anderson   Oct 23, 2015

The pain you feel is all to real.
The wound seems to peel.
You can see the heart slowing
As the blood goes rushing.
White lights are all to be seen
Your darkness has become overcome.
The emotion is too much.
Eyes wide you sew the wound shut.
Only to rip it all apart.

Wow, the brevity and emotion is deep and dark in this. I feel that, not being able to take the overwhelming wave of emotions, wanting them to leave. Wanting to end the pain.

Hang in there, keep your head up.
