Laughter is contagious...but a child's laughter really spreads cheer far and wide :)
    Good job on this piece!
    Take care Cindy

      Thanks Cindy.
I wrote this on my phone yesterday. Two ladies were both in fits of laughter as they walked through the shopping centre. I was sat on a seat and noticed other shoppers smiling along with me. It is good to laugh.
I hope you watched the video.
      Take care.

I had a feeling this was going to be about a child's laughter when I saw the title. One of my grandson's turns 5 today and we had a little family catch up yesterday. The younger grandson (4) went into a fit of the giggles and before we knew it the whole table was laughing their heads off...I mean full on belly laughs and...that's right, the question came up...what's so funny...nobody knew that answer haha!!!

      Bingo, Hellon.

This virus makes us happy just thinking about the syptoms. Imagine phoning in sick...

Sorry, I have a virus. Put the phone down and then explode with laughter.

I'm sure you must have watched Mary Poppins at least once in your life? Uncle Albert still gets my whole family roaring with laughter...

...and up he goes like he's full of helium. I love that film and Di*k Van Dyke he is one of my Idols. Thanks for the happy memories.

How about, Chitty Chitty bang bang?

Chitty Chitty bang bang...another classic. The Sound of Music? They are all timeless masterpieces IMO!

I so laughed when I read this poem Michael, and the comment that you had written yourself.
'Sorry, I have a virus. Put the phone down and then explode with laughter.'

That comment 'killed me' sending me into fits of uncontrollable laughter.
I think that I will have to get another job now, just so that I can call in sick and say that line!
I'm laughing now just running your comment back through my head again!'
This poem is so well written and funny.
I guess you have the last laugh! (pun!)

Thanks Peter. It is amazing how much we relate to observational inspired pieces. It's more an daydream wish rather than a poem.

      Thanks again.

What a charming write Michael - makes you wonder, doesn't it?
As for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - a true masterpiece that I have enjoyed as a child and with my children over and over again.
    All the best

    Hi Michael,

I loved the video, so nice to see all those babies laughing so loud!
Yes, laughter heals. My hero dr. Michael Greger made a video about it:

A message worth spreading, well done
