Storms Of Silence

by Baby Rainbow   Nov 3, 2015

I wish I could find the reasons why
these storms of silence
keep washing over me
with noises always loud.

The love you have of mine,
is stolen,
for it was sold long ago
into the abyss of his control.

Our love would be tainted by his poison,
and believe me I have seen
the rain he pours on people
who try to teach me the forbidden lessons
he always hid from me.

What we have so far,
might be stolen tomorrow,
if these secrets keep escaping,
so run away with your love,
take it all back,
because we will never win
and I can't end up losing you
into just a memory
inside my heart.

Saffie, is one of the top emotional writers on this sight. This lovely lady writes from the heart and soul of her being in every line. Very captivating poem.

Running from darkness and losing control, sight of a love can be devastating and she captures the core feelings within this poem. truly elegant, sorrowful and touching!!

Dang, Saffie. The depth and emotion in this gets me. Your words and your title ties into that so much "storms of silence". Just thinking about that, how much silence can affect us, how loud it can be even when others don't see it. It haunts us, and that love being stolen breaks my heart. Love should be given, not used or abused or about gaining power.

    Powerful piece.
