Cherished Angel

Once in a lifetime,
and angel will come along
and blow the dust away
on the cobwebs of your locked heart.

If you close your eyes,
you can see her drying
your crystal maze of tears,
reminding you that you are not alone.

She softly lands upon your shoulder,
and there she shall remain,
slowing down your head when it spins,
and mending your heart when it cracks.

I found my angel,
I cherish her so deeply,
and I have a million reasons
to never let her go.
