Needle And Thread:

by Scott Cole   Nov 4, 2015

I'm the piece of thread
And you're the needle,
Cause you're firm and stout
And it's me that is feeble.

Your always push and pulling
And yanking me around,
You expect me to just follow
And not make a sound.

Our relationship is unravelling
We're busting at the seam,
If we don't work well together
Both together as a team.

Both our dreams can be mended
If we just stick to the plan,
And if we both do our part
Without leaving any lose strands.

If we'd just see eye to eye
As a woman and a man,
And hold both fast and strong
Like a great marriage can.

And if any problem should arise
And we're both torn apart,
We can stitch us back together
When our seperation first starts.

By both sides pulling together
To repair any splits or holes,
And deterring any outside forces
From dividing our stronghold.

When the impairment is repaired
Our two halves are again whole,
The relationship of our torn fabric
Is now mended and under control.

Then the solution to our problem
Is now even stronger than ever,
With the combination of us both
We can accomplish our endeavour.

Our slight split is now gone
We're now better, better as one,
That's because we're even stronger
Than when we first had begun.
