The Willow Nymphs

by LadyKnightingham   Nov 4, 2015

In a grove Near a Stream,
Where the sun hits as it shimmers and gleams.
Live the mother willow and her nymphs.
She Dances and holds her daughter nymphs close
She protects them from harm, well.. for the most.
Her nymphs like to play and swing from her vines.
They like to play with their friends,
the water nymphs whom are kind.
They dance and chortle with oh so much glee
this is a sight to truly see.
but at last night come and the nymphs are weary,
they cry to their mother, whom they love dearly.
"Come sleep my dear daughter nymphs, lay your heads down and drift to sleep."
and so the nymphs did, with not even a peep.
