As I close my eyes
your lips touch mine.
I tremble & shake
as your fingers trace down my spine.

You hold me so tight
like you'll never let go.
And you whisper in my ear
your voice clear ,but low.

You say to me that
I'm special to you.
But you don't love me
like I love you.

You're afraid that by
the time you can love me.
My love for you
will no longer be.

But that simply is
not true.
Because no matter what I know
I will always love you.
