Speaking With Fire

by Baby Rainbow   Nov 5, 2015

People come and people go,
looking through you now I realise,
that you are no different to them.

This silence feels
like you are speaking with fire,
and this breathing space
becomes an aerosol.

I don't know what made it
go so bad,
but I do know that you
are no longer by my side.

I feel like I'm talking to myself,
as I become a piece of dirt
on your shoe.

And I make one last appeal,
for you to stop spreading this fire,
and just go back to me and you.

Writing to release..... I have days when I need saffie poetry... today is the day....

I'm so glad I have nestled down to a mug of coffee and your words.

pain of loneliness and broken somber words...ugh

people can relate to your words saffie and I feel that is why I admire it so much....

I love your attention and tie into fire... like the last poem I read... just love how it ties in with this piece... just beautiful!
