I was looking for the light,
and then I found you!
Struggling to face
these mountains I've been climbing,
but suddenly, I was not alone!
Maybe you can't stop tomorrow
from turning off the lights in my mind,
but you do shine a light inside my heart,
a I hang on one more day
just to see the sun rise.
Life gets risky,
and you have to make choices,
and I am so glad that I made
a choice to let you in
to climb these mountains with me.
