Outcome.

by -Choke-On-MY-Halo-   Nov 6, 2015

Life has lost its' luster
as I've cemented my
pathway with good
and unpleasant decisions.

-----------------------------
So answer me this,
what is the freaking
meaning of fate when
you have shunned its'
ability to walk into
your life by stabbing it
in the heart?

-------;--------------;-----
Or when love tries to find
you and you've been hurt
so much that you're willing
to neglect it just to be safe?

==================

Even if this ramblings of
confusing thoughts reaches
eyes that understand will
it even matter when all has
lost its' meaning to the
writer that penned the
words?

==================

A simple word.
A simple sentence.
A simple emotion.

******************************
It all can change the outcome.

    Love at times can be so strong it can hurt. We all have been hurt but it makes us stronger and the outcome is unforeseen. You have expressed your emotions very well.5/5

    You said in your message to me that this was complicated. I disagree. I understand this poem and can relate, perhaps to a lesser extent.
    What use of anything that is meant to be when we hide from it and are scared of its outcome? Be it love or fate?
    I love the last full stanza: who cares even if the reader does understand? The meaning is all now lost on the writer anyway!
    I like this a lot - it is a clever piece of writing.
    All the very best
    Ben
