Doll

by Katie Walsh   Nov 6, 2015

He's as fragile as porcelain
So easily smashed.
So easily shattered.
So easily trashed.

His heart in is many shards,
Like the finest glass.
He was loved by so many,
Then they threw him aside.

His face is innocent,
Yet his eyes show true fear.
It seems he's truly scared
Just with me being near.

He's just like a little China Doll
If you wish to cross the bridge,
You must pay the toll.
And only if you'll help the Doll.

Hurt by so many,
He may no longer trust
The Doll is hollow,
His heart is bust

This China Doll,
Simply timid and scarred.
Behind these thick steel walls,
Doll has been barred.

He hides from the public eye,
Any more pain and he shall surely die.
I'll always stay his friend,
And help this shattered little Doll to mend.

He's a fragile as porcelain
So easily smashed.
So easily shattered.
So easily trashed.
