Bohemian Resurrection

by Maple Tree   Nov 9, 2015

Two moons ago,
the sun began to rise
within the last tear shed.

I crossed over
a very important shadow,
during certain phases of my resurrection.

Some call me a forrest dweller,
a free thinker perhaps.

Digging, always digging
deep within earth so that
I may find shelter.

A castle becomes fallen limbs of Autumn
my sorrow is blanketed within a marigold leaf whisper.

I quiver with excitement, Mothers first frosting will be my redemption, conserving beauty within words until spring
sends her invitation to the May flowers grand finale....

When I'm naked within nature, I fear nothing
for I become innocent within natures purity.

Tree bark becomes a diary where I release my inner demons,
trapped within life circles they shall be preserved.

I'm an earth dweller, flower walker,
nature lover....

So delightful. I could really feel the connection you have with nature.

    Sunny,

I don't think anyone could depict a connection to nature as well as you do in your poetry. This piece is a beautiful and honest description of the bond you have with not only earth, but with all the elements: fire, water and air too.

I have a lot of love for this poem, the tone, the peacefulness, the honesty.. These are all characteristics that a nature poem needs. To be able to feel this at ease with something, to be relaxed by your surroundings, what a beautiful life it must be for you when you're amongst nature.

"Tree bark becomes a diary" < What a thought.
