to understand your explanations
to the rules of every game you made me play?
Do you know how hard it was
to try and meet your expectations,
even though you changed them day to day?
I tried so hard to be what you wanted me to be,
I even tried to be just like you
and have no conscience -
but I failed.
Trying to play by the rules
just tore my mind apart,
and when I begged for you
to please tell me what you wanted,
you just hit me hard and repeated that
"all rules must be obeyed!"
And even though I got so many rules wrong,
do you realise how hard I tried,
to understand your explanations
and meet your ever-changing expectations?!
