Healing Me

I know I still have a long journey ahead,
longer than the span of the Earth,
but you are everything I need
to believe that I can make it.

I've never seen the sky so clear
than when you dissolve my questions of doubt,
and help me focus on one day at a time.

And I know I don't need
to explain myself to you,
because you already accept
that my insecurities
are all a part of me,
and yet you still continue
to encourage me,
and tell me that you are proud of me,
and none of the above
has prevented you form loving me.
