A Poem For Her...

A Poem For Her

A traveler she was
guided by languorous will,
restlessly carrying a bag
of expired dreams,
assumptions,
and tons of hopes...

There, he could have been
beneath the eyelids
a knight on a shining armour,
the survival's halo
translating expectations
unto reality...

bittersweet visions:
"love" and "family"
"whether" and "if"
seeking for oxygen,
dancing upon tide
of endless battle.

But on a land inhabited by fear
the wind could only carry
weep of creeping demise,
screams of the orphans,
and thousand tears
shed in the dark.

Alas, for such stray heart
it might be
a perfect reverie
but a home
it could never be...
