Many thoughts have asked me,
"WHO ARE YOU?"
To this day, I still haven't been able to answer that question.
But it's not because I don't know who I am, or what I want to be.
It's that there are so many things to choose from.
YOU CAN:
Be a horse rider,
a hang glider,
a bird sighter,
a strong fighter.
A great teacher,
a church's preacher,
a love keeper,
an alarms beeper.
Who do I want to be?
WHAT do I want to be?
You and I can do ANYTHING
our heart decides,
even if it's not what your parents wanted,
or your grandma, or grandpa, or even your siblings.
YOU ARE YOU,
and no one can change that.
Not even you.
Trust me, I learned that lesson the hard way.
Because I want you to be happy, and faithful,
I don't want you to take my path,
I want you to make your own.
Even if I haven't chosen who I want to be,
What about YOU.
What you choose,
is who you are,
who you are,
is what you choose.
