This Journey of Words

This journey of words that my fingers trek,
it's something more than just a trip, I take.

I know deep down that my fingers run,
And often trip with letters that make them stop,
but here they are, typing words again,
starting in a journey, I cannot really explain.

yet these ten fingers that type slow and fast,
they want to take a long and peaceful walk.
They want to stroll along the riverbank,
(that riverbank that is my mind and heart)

to see these calm and rapid streams of lines
fluctuate from the river of this soul of mine.
