I love the rain

I love the rain
It's one of the things that helps stressed out workers stay sane.
Isn't it great on a weekend when rain is your friend, As you roll over and look at it's zig zag pattern cascading down the window pane.
It can lose it's allure when it storms for sure but when with a special miss it may bring a kiss.
Thunder during the night may wake you, fear and shaking may overtake you.
The dawn comes right on time, you sip your brew and everything seems fine.
The birds are chirping while you are burping.
The Lord stores his rain in the clouds nearby, high in the sky.
An unexpected sprinkle may make you sigh but it's better than a loved ones goodbye!

    You are right rain is always better then a goodbye! I love the rain and would love to curl up and sleep. I also liked this poem, its sweet, rhythmic and it just sends out simple fact of life..nice one :)

    It is such a sweet poem Ken. Rain like you put it has cooling calming and cleansing affect when it is in its soft and drizzling form. It brings romance and nostalgia into a dried up life.
    Although in the form of thunder showers it rattles you up at night but it brings in a clean and fresh morning and new hope to begin with.
