Men I love the rain too. It is very soothing and the sound of the raindrops is calming. There is just something about rain and after its gone you see so many things blooming. Almost rejuvenate. Love your write. Add to my favorite

It is such a sweet poem Ken. Rain like you put it has cooling calming and cleansing affect when it is in its soft and drizzling form. It brings romance and nostalgia into a dried up life.
Although in the form of thunder showers it rattles you up at night but it brings in a clean and fresh morning and new hope to begin with.

You are right rain is always better then a goodbye! I love the rain and would love to curl up and sleep. I also liked this poem, its sweet, rhythmic and it just sends out simple fact of life..nice one :)
