My deal with the devil.

by DarkLight   Nov 19, 2015

They say am fond of death
yet I agree.
Attended my funeral today,
death by lead,
to much was said, nothing I could read.
The smack on my face
for once now erased.
Didn't hold back my tears,
or the emotions of fear.
Taken by the moment I stood back,
to witness the number of them wearing black.
High people around the world
flew in when they heard the word.
Death took my body
too bad he forgot my soul.
I made a deal with the devil
excited by the idea forgot to ask me to sign
now relieved with sigh
as I watch my favorite song them sing.
In my awakening hour,
at least I now know have got a purpose
to live and die a honorable person
known for great and amazing deeds.

"Death took my body, too bad he forgot my soul."

    ^^^^^
Excellent line here in a very good write.

*Just one suggestion "for great and amazing deeds" rather than "amazingly deeds".

All the very best and well done,
    Ben
