Can it be this easy?
To spend time and not feel
Have I grown heartless?
Or did love disappear?

Can't remember the last time
I felt excitement at the thought
A possibility for a future
Been so long I just forgot

Many friends have said in kindness
One day my true love will come
When he does will I be ready
Or for the hills begin to run

Truth is I'm ok without him
Love would only complicate
