The Naked Truth

by Baby Rainbow   Nov 27, 2015

Flashbacks remind me of what I didn't know
about my broken childhood.
There was so much more
to the brutal Fun and Games
than you could ever imagine,
but suddenly I see the naked truth
of a child trapped in hell.

And I can't stop crying
as these flashbacks make me feel so ashamed,
when I remember that little child
and the loss of innocence she endured,

but I know that a walk inside this closet
is the only way to face up
to the wild world
that she was born into.
