A very expressive poem

True and sincere - the fact that we let down our guard and let our inner turmoil reflect on our face when we are around our most loved ones. We feel so at home with them that we let go the facade. however a poem like this is required to express to them how supportive and loving they are and we some times need to be a little more hard on ourself and display the joy for their benefit too.

A very true poem Donna. I think sometimes people don't realize that some of us are as happy as we can be.....but that doesn't mean we are actually happy, as it were.
But having that special person in your life can raise you to your happiest - it takes some time for them to understand that, sometimes.

This touched me and I can so relate. This mask we are putting on , forcing a smile and pleasing others. If someone truly loves you they will accept the mental part we have no control over. You are not alone.
