The reading of this very story itself has a lot for the reader to wonder about. There is a mystery to it, like a secret of an ethereal beauty and within that beauty a captured sadness. I like this better then the pic itself!

I wasn't able to see which painting you were actually referring to (link doesn't work for me), but did google some of the work by Joan Miro and they certainly are intriguing. I did notice a typo " Then, after some time past", 'past' should be 'passed'. That said, really enjoyed this piece, the 'personification' of the painting was executed extremely well, and it was compelling.r
