Sparklish

by yogi73   Dec 15, 2015

Moonlight
falls from sparkling winter sky
sifting
though piney boughs
resting quietly on snowy forest floor.
Lightly
the wind whispers her secret
amidst trees
the romance of snow holds us
close in its chilly embrace.

Tender
are those that meet
between the fall and spring
A time of solace and quiet
before awakening.
Frosty kisses
warm lips do meet
as winter's loves quell
Boreas' icy breath.

The radiance of moonlit snow
resists the cover of night
