The Hunted

When the story gets told for the first time,
I know I will be breaking all of his rules,
and I will become The Hunted.

My truth will be turned into lies,
and I will become The Guilty.

I will lose focus on being strong,
as soon as I see that cross you bear-
silently reminding me that
I have nothing to declare.

But what if it starts to show,
and my biddable silence is only limited?

Will I still become The Hunted?
Will I still become The Guilty?
