My darling girl

by Alexis Anderson   Dec 19, 2015

Seeing your face for the first time was incredible
My world stopped
I thought I loved you the day I heard your heartbeat
I even thought I loved you
The day I saw you on that screen I never knew
The love of a mother.
Not until the day I heard you cry I cried because
I was so happy.
It felt like a lifetime in those few seconds with you
Wrapped so tight in that
Pink blanket. Just trying to keep warm.

There is no greater joy then seeing your little one for the first time and holding it tied. Those are memories we will never forget.

What a lovely little piece about the joys of motherhood, here. I have never experienced it! BUT, I am a father, and everything you describe leaves me smiling with memories.
    All the very best,
    Ben
