I pray to you,
Angel of mine,
just take my hand
and reassure me
that I am strong enough
to heal and to forgive.

I will depend on you
through the trauma,
to never let me fall,
no matter how far I go
into the dark ditch of my past.

There is something in your love,
that gives me reassurance
every time you tell me
that it will get better soon.
