I see you've been cleaning out your closet as we head into the new year - and worthwhile indeed when there are gems like this hidden in there.
I have read your latest few posted and they are all very good but this one struck me the most with its wisdom. I was two when you wrote this, and have in the time between been able to write a good deal of my own story, so I read this and nodded along all the way through.
