Washing clothes --- Radomn thoughts

by Everlasting   Dec 29, 2015

Sitting upon a piles of dirty clothes,
I can't distinguished
Which ones are cotton
Which one are hand washed...

Yet should I wash them all in the same batch?

I mean, All are equal, all are the same - clothes!

Yet I always hear people complain:

"Never mix reds with whites
Never mix blacks with whites"

Though on the contrary, I always hear people advice:

"Always mix like colors with like colors
Always wash cotton clothes with cotton clothes,
Etc"

Huh!

Sitting upon a pile of dirty clothes,
I thought:

I guess so long as the clothes are clean,
It will not matter if I mixed them up
But if the clothes are dirty,
In order to clean them, one mustn't mix them up.
One must learn to distinguished
The materials and colors with which the clothes are made,
The level of dirtiness, in order
to clean and leave them like new...

Okay, time to finish up

You mean like confession restores your soul to lily whiteness?

Confession is the bleach of moral laundry

Hmm, not like confessions. I don't think confessions are the bleach of moral laundry...

One can confess one too many times and still have that dirty stain in our souls. Repentance, on the other hand, can be a good soap. However, I've been wondering what the bleach really is?

I know, mom, usually let's dirty dirty socks soak in water, with Ariel, for a while, then washes them. Later, if the socks are still greyish, she adds some bleach and washes them again until the socks turn white. But usually, the soaking in water and Ariel does the trick.

Edit: I should probably ask mom again - about the process of cleaning socks. Lol I usually just do the cooking and cleaning the house but not the laundry.

So may be meditation can be the soaking process that helps remove the dirtiness of our souls?

Confessing, helps, but i don't think, confessing is as potent as bleach is for restoring a soul... Or in this case, a dirty white clothe to pure white per se

    Cold water.
    Solves all your problems.

Pretty much... Though what if people or sins are like the clothes?
