Disintegrated

by Baby Rainbow   Jan 10, 2016

She poured her heart out in the rain,
wondering,
how could she possibly drown any more?

Standing alone in December's snow,
cutting up the roses to try and visibly erase
the love that used to exist behind the lies,
but there is nothing to cry about,
for there was always going to be
no gold for us to find.

Standing alone in December's snow,
running out of time before it melts,
and the lonely petals disintegrate-
just like the love that used to be.

What a very sad piece. The rain reminds me of the tears of the broken heart. I picture a one sided love. Standing alone is hard after you thought you had someone to lean on. Then even harder when you see the love was a lie.
    *wipes a tear
