Rainy day

Rain is falling to the ground
Critters chirping all around
It makes such a wonderful sound
I can feel my heart pound
The raindrops are so cool and sweet
I love no shoes upon my feet
The rainbow is so very neat
The birds are going tweet tweet tweet
running in the rain may be insane
But its such a wonderful thing
Especially when you sing
Come in soaked to the bone
Dance with the garden gnome
And play in the rain till the cows come home!

    I love rainy days and I love this poem. It's cute and a refreshing read. Reminds me a lot about childhood, of course coming into the house soaked to the bone was a definite no-no, lol. I don't see very many young children playing in the rain anymore :(
