Roses are red

Roses are red violets are blue
Sugar is sweet and so are you.

But.........

The roses are dead the violets are black
And now you seen how I come back
You don't think I care about how you act
Well think again Mr. Jack.
Now I'm gone and when you get home tell
Mrs. Jack that is was just the cat.

    I like the way you have taken the well know 'roses are red' ditty and mirrored it with a sinister retort. I do like a poem with a twist like you have here.
