Smiling curtains

by Sherry Caayupan   Jan 16, 2016

Your ruffles run through my head,
purple windows stay alive,
i take my hand in stead,
now the sun rays do arrive;
gladly mornings start with a grin,
i cast a fragrant mist,
tiring toils now begin,
everyday gladness exists;
in this room where i first stumbled,
your face so nocent,
your frolicking hands I made ten-fold,
i welcome you without indolence;
let the moon shine on me,
i sleep a relenting dream,
your palms close in chivalry,
i hear no doubt nor scream...
