Waiting For Justice

by Baby Rainbow   Jan 16, 2016

Waiting for justice
is just one of the things that stop you dreaming,
but why?

Because we become stuck,
like park benches to the the ground
we are constantly trying to escape.

Waiting for justice
does not make you a millionaire in bravery,
like what you are told,
but why?

Because through the childhood trauma,
we never took the time to love ourselves,
in fact, we became detached from ourselves.

So feelings mean nothing,
outcomes feel pointless-
no matter the result.

Waiting for justice
destroys everything that survived,
but why?

Because no one understands
the darkness that once swallowed you,
the pain that fractured you,
or the angel wings that saved you from waiting
and took you up to a better place of clouds
in the sky you never saw as blue.
