Crumpled

by Baby Rainbow   Jan 16, 2016

If I was on my knees pleading with you,
begging for you not to leave,
would you leave me alone,
drowning in my own tears?

I used to be yours to keep,
until you crumpled me like paper
and threw me in a trash heap.

I'm too broken to walk away,
but I have no reason
to believe that you will stay.

And I wonder,
what does that mean for us?
