Have you ever had a day
When no matter what you do or say
It's just not enough

Have you ever had a day
When all you do is think of
What might or could have been

Have you ever had a day
When all you want to is cry
Scream and shout just to try to feel better

Have you ever had a day
When you want to throw up your
Hands an just want it all to end

Have you ever had a day
When all you want to do is hold
The ones who have gone on to a better place

Have you ever had a day
When you just want to say
F@ck it and just walk awayl

    The answer to your question is a resounding YES! I have had quite a few of those days.

    I love the penultimate stanza in this piece; that really is effective. People we miss and wish we could hold again - especially on 'those' days. But remember - they are in a better place, so maybe we should not wish it on them!
