has been in a horrific car crash
or hit by a car
a gun shot to the chest
or just something happen at work

I'm in a hospital bed
or in acoma
or you listening on the other line
I'm sorry but your wife has died

Would you still say there's not enough hours in a day?

all we did was argue
you didn't make time for me

you were cheating

all you did was lie to me
breaking my heart everyday
made tons of excuses

you're too frazzled
you are too busy
i have a doctor's appointment

an hour is too much
oh wait let me guess
there's not enough hours in a day

what would be your excuse?
when you no longer get a text?
you get to wake up every day
knowing you had a chance
