I love the first verse, the rhyme, rhythm and metaphorical meaning...

I also like questioned refrain: this causes necessary reflection in this reader.

The middle verse is captivating. The sound as I speak it out loud is like chewing on the muddy snake. The alliteration here is wonderful.

The last verse, the couplet and the bringing together the 'flutter' to the final fading message. The sweet instincts that we hold within and sometimes just need inspiration to truly hear them.
