God's temple

by Sherry Caayupan   Jan 26, 2016

In solitude
will one take god by the hand,
of songs and praises
that move hearts of sinners,
enlightened spirits
unite in beautiful choirs,
like angels up above
that fondle harpsichords;
loving souls
uplifted into higher ground,
took them to a gift-giving utopia,
a heartfelt feeling
of embracing the sound,
of god's call
for withered souls and sad men;
in god's camaraderie,
boundless faith of every man,
souls of men
not alone and damp,
the picturesque
of a perfect home,
nestled
in god's loving hands...

    It is no often we find poetry written so beautifully with as few words as the piece you have here. This moves me in ways I cannot describe. Keep it up!
