Best friends are temporary,
They should tell you beforehand.
One day y'all are taking over the world,
The next she has a man.

He should not stop your friendship,
You guys should still be super close.
But everything is drifting,
You hardly know her anymore.

Secrets used to be shared,
You would giggle left and right.
She labeled herself as your person,
But it is getting harder to try.

She tells him everything now,
You are merely just a friend.
You don't have a partner in crime anymore,
and it's hard to apprehend.

Maybe she will notice,
And she will try to be a better friend.
But most likely it will not happen,
It'll just be marked as the end.
