I particularly enjoyed the last stanza the most:

"they say that time can heal all wounds, but can it heal all fear?
the truth disguised in little lies, the answer drawing near.
my heart in two (my soul to keep) but deeper yet, my will
drowns out beneath the water cold and settles lower, still."

The iambic in this stanza is delicious. lol I really doubt that time can heal all fear... actually, I'm not sure that fears can heal. I think we can overcome fears with time but at the same time, time is irrelevant, as in order to overcome a fear one must gain some type of courage.
