This is beautiful. I don't have much time to comment, but I just love how you take things and spin them in different directions, making us see "normal" things in different ways. You have a subtle rhyme/internal and not throughout the entire poem, and I feel like maybe it wasn't intentional, but it was PERFECTLY placed to have a soft rhythm to reading. Love it! Love the prey/pray, too! Wish I had more time to go into this, but you know I adore your work!

I adore this. It feels private and personal and like a love that I'm viewing through your eyes. The metaphors, twists and turns, plays on words... it's all lovely, truly. Ending whole-hearted, that's the most we can hope for when a relationship reaches finality.
