The brevity here is so emotion-filled. The "you" then "I" is powerful and simple in the technique. Sometimes we get hurt and that person is gone and (at least from my experience), it's like you want to write of their absence, make visible that pain. There's such a disconnect here too - like you relied on this person yet they used you to suit them perhaps? Sorry you're going through this. I think when we let others define our self-worth, how "enough" we are, that is the real danger. |
