A stroll in the park

by Michael   Feb 15, 2016

The gift of life, such bliss,
to the warmth of the sun, I blow a kiss.

From the trees, I hear birds gently singing,
in the distance church bells ringing.

Children playing hide and seek,
behind a tree they sneak a peak.

Dogs meeting and greeting,
squirrels scurry then fleeting.

An amethyst sky
delicate to the eye.

You encompass the beauty of nature so vividly well in this poem. I love the expression of beauty and the energetic youth and animals enjoying a nice, warm day at the park.
