Love Is A Padlock:

by Scott Cole   Feb 16, 2016

Love is like
A padlock,
A rusty soul
Time has forgot.

Where little fingers
Like to pry,
And little fingers
Like to try.

Strike a nerve
That is but felt,
Your spinning cylinders
Make me melt.

Seal my heart
With a wish and key,
And all of my secrets
Nobody can see.

If you hold the key
To my locked heart,
You lift me up
Make me fall apart.

Now here as i hang
With my arms around you,
I promise i'll protect you
If its the last thing i do.

For love is a padlock
And we hold the key,
A hidden agenda
That nobody foresees.

Cause who would've thought
That both you and me,
With both minds together
What we could achieve.

Well the stage is set
Its just you and me,
Both working together
Like the turn of a key.
