It shapes and binds,
In all little worlds
Inside our minds.

B is for barium
The foundation of all,
To hold all the squares
So things will not fall.

C is for carbon
The muscle within,
The creator of life
And all that has been.

1 is for hydrogen
The most abundant,
More little fingers
To reach the summit.

2 is for helium
Second in line,
A waterproof dam
To protect mankind.

3 is for lithium
Eyes of the night,
Little bitty muscles
On the job site.
