Quite a strange poem bt well done.

There is something quite mystical about this poem...from the title..False December to the content has me guessing. I like how you have taken the reader to the first 'short' version of that first December and takes us back to the next one. You don't tell us what happened (if anything) in between and I loved the aspect of having to guess...I really enjoyed this one...

Such a mystical yet beautiful piece

This poem gives an air of magical memories.
the magic of laughter overwhelming the winter air immediately conjures groups of children laughing and playing all wrapped up in coats and scarves.

Sitting around a campfire reminds me of toasting marshmallows with friends and those moments with friends are always magical moments.

Winters breath cloaked the air immediately reminds me of frost and snow and leaving steps to walk again another December gives
the impression of a path well known
the smell of the familiar magic, memories of
a loved ones laughter yet finding nothing but the fragment of a torn leaf.

Gives a strong image of someone lost to you. The mention of Autumn gives the impression that the loss was not so long ago.
